Inside Job

I have everything I need:
it’s an inside job.
I express everything I need
out of heart and mind and gratitude,
like a spider pulling its web
out of its own soft belly.

I dream and rest,
vision, love, and play,
and the new day comes to greet me,
twinkling with reflections,
an inside joke,
a bounty only I can fully see.
